Support for Haiti - Children in Need.
District Leader George R. Dixon has taken on a project to purchase and send school supplies to the children of Haiti. The supplies were purchased with the proceeds from Mr. Dixon's Annual Golf Fundraiser (M.O.P.). M.O.P. (Minds Of Production) donated the supplies as a part of the efforts of Assemblyman Jeffrion Aubry and Assemblywoman Grace Ming to bring relief to the earthquake torn Island.

This year, the Corona-East Elmhurst area suffered the loss of the Clara Mohammed School on Northern Blvd. The children have been relocated to Antioch Baptist Church. M.O.P. has made a donation of school supplies to the school.
